How to get from the airport to hotels near Barcelona cruise port
The international airport in Barcelona (BCN) is Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport, known as El-Prat.
You have the following transport options to get to your hotel from the airport in Barcelona:
Bus: One of the easiest and least expensive ways to travel is using the Aerobus, which travels direct from airport terminals 1 and 2 to Plaça Espanya in just 20 minutes or to Plaça de Catalunya in just 35 minutes. Buses are easy to find outside your arrival terminal. We recommend booking tickets in advance.
Taxi: there are official airport taxis right outside the arrival terminals. Do not accept a ride from anyone approaching you inside the airport. Wait by the official taxis for a free cab. Expect to pay around 40 euros for a transfer to the center of Barcelona.
Train: Airport trains are operated by Renfe and run every 30 minutes. The journey time is 25 minutes. Get off at Passeig de Gràcia or Barcelona Sants, the central train station. From here, you can either walk to your hotel or connect to the metro system to reach other stops in the city.

Always check with the cruise line where your ship docks in Barcelona Cruise Port. There are two primary cruise passenger piers with good shops and restaurants:
- Adossat Quay (with four cruise terminals: A, B, C, and D) is used mainly by large cruise ships.
- World Trade Centre pier (with three cruise terminals: North, South, and East) is used mainly by smaller cruise ships.
Hotel Eurostars Grand Marina is the closest hotel to the cruise port, being walking distance from the World Trade Centre pier. All other hotels close to the cruise port still near transportation to get you there as it is still too far to walk comfortably with your luggage. The most convenient way is to get a taxi to drop you at the cruise port. Ask your hotel concierge for help or wave a taxi down outside of your hotel. Expect to pay around 15-20 euros for a taxi ride.
